Trudy Kilcullen - Chief Operations Officer
Trudy assumed leadership of the Jack Petchey Foundation in November 2008 having joined as Head of Operations in June 2008. Trudy has many years experience in leading a variety of charities both in the UK and working overseas. Her professional qualifications in Youth & Community work and Youth Counselling enhance the work of the Jack Petchey Foundation, as do her Master’s Degrees in Voluntary Sector Management and Spirituality.
Events Team:
Lee Thompson - Head of Events
Lee originally joined the Foundation in January 2005 as a Grants Officer and became Head of Events in September 2007. He has organised hugely successful Achievement Award events across London, his theatrical background making him a funny and entertaining compere on stage.
Sasha Hudson - Event Manager Sasha has over 7 years experience of managing a range of varied events for both Crossrail and Cancer Research UK. Sasha looks after the events programme with Lee and Philip.
Philip Allinson - Event Manager
Philip has trained as an actor and performed both on stage and screen and he is now applying these skills as part of his role as host for Jack Petchey Foundation events. He has several years’ experience in high profile government event management and has also trained fundraisers in the charity sector.
Grants Team:
Gemma Dunbar - Head of Grants
Gemma started at the Foundation in October 2010. She has a well rounded understanding of the voluntary and youth sectors having worked with a number of charitable organisations as a volunteer, professional and Trustee. Her role is to support the Grant’s Team and ensure the most efficient running of the JPF grant programmes.
Nikki Casey - Grants Officer Nikki joined the Foundation in November 2003 having previously worked as an administrator at Pastures Youth Centre in Leytonstone. Nikki is the link between the Foundation and schools/organisations throughout Essex, Waltham Forest and Havering.
Jane Evans - Grants Officer
Jane has worked for the Petchey Group of Companies since 2004 and joined the Foundation as a Grants Officer in 2007. Her role encompasses looking after the schools, clubs and organisations working with young people in South London and Newham.
Rowena Clewlow - Grants Officer
Rowena supports organisations across West, South-West and North-West London, as well as the Triborough area and the City of London. She is responsible for the Foundation's newsletters, e-communications, and Facebook fanpage. She has worked previously as a fundraiser at the Philharmonia Orchestra, and taught English to young people in Tamil Nadu, India.
Schenell Stephens - Grants Officer
Schenell joined the Foundation grants team in January 2013 having previously worked as a youth worker and project manager at Downside Fisher Youth Club. Her role at The Jack Petchey Foundation encompasses supporting schools and youth organisations across North and East London.
Sharon Ogunbiyi - Grants Administrator
Sharon joined the Foundation in March 2013. With a degree in Psychology with Ergonomics from Loughborough University, she has experience in, optometry, product design and hospitality. Sharon is supported by Allison Burrow in overseeing the administration for our Grants Programmes and Grants Team.
Allison Burrow - Grants Administrator (Support)
Allison has worked for the Petchey group of companies for over 11 years and joined the Foundation as a part time administrator in 2009. During her years with the group, Allison has gained extensive knowledge of the Foundation and its work.
Harry Shepherd - Press & PR (Intern) Harry recently joined the foundation as a Press and PR Officer in 2013. He has previously worked for a cultural magazine in Bolivia, with young people as an ambassador for the University of Leicester and has experience in events management in the third sector. He is focusing on highlighting the positive impacts of the foundation across London and Essex.
