Leader Award

What is the Leader Award?
The Leader Award has been designed for young people to thank and celebrate the adults who support them.
Linked to the Achievement Award Scheme, the Leader Award enables schools and youth organisations to honour the dedication and commitment of staff and volunteers - particularly those who go 'the extra mile' to support young people.
The awards work best when young people, other leaders, teachers and volunteers are all involved in choosing a winner. We ask organisations running this scheme to encourage their members to nominate deserving adults, and consider a vote to select the final winner. In order to help with this process you can request a 'ballot-style' nomination box and nomination forms from our Leader Award Resources section.
Adults who receive the Leader Award will be honoured at a Jack Petchey Foundation celebration event and awarded a certificate and medallion. In addition, by participating in this scheme, your organisation will be offered the opportunity to apply for an additional small grant once a year. See our Small Grants Fund section for more information on this.
