Highgate Harriers, Camden

Highgate Harriers have been part of the Achievement Award scheme since 2006.

Club coordinator Garham Norris tells us how much the scheme has impacted their young members:

"The Achievement Award scheme has made a massive difference to our club!

We have worked hard at installing a sense of club loyalty and pride in our Young Athletes in the hope that it would increase membership retention. This has worked better than expected, with the club having a stunning 2011. 2012 has seen our Young Athletes win their first meeting very comfortably, and it was very pleasing seeing so many of them turning out for the club and staying to the very end to hear the final result.

The Achievement Award scheme has played a major part in this, not only in enabling us to purchase equipment that enhances the 'athletics experience' but also in the monthly presentations which are eagerly anticipated by our members.

2011 also saw us awarded Clubmark and Camden's Beacon Club accreditation, so things really couldn't be better!

From all at Highgate Harriers, a Big Thank You!!!"
