Young people are the heart of Shpresa programme; they play an active role in our organisation and local community promoting our work through their involvement, participation and creativity.
The Jack Petchey Achievement Scheme has been the most successful scheme within our organisation. It helps us to recognise and reward our young people for their achievements, as well as give them a choice in runing the activities that they choose which also helps increase the number of the young people that want to be involved in positive activities.
Our young people have always had the choice on how to use the grant money, many choosing to run their own events, towards learning new skills and as well as contributing to the campaigns or events that they love the most.
The Jack Petchey Award Scheme fits perfectly with our work in supporting young people.
