Amended Proposal for Achievement Award Winners Society
Objectives:
- To encourage the Achievers to develop after receiving their achievement award.
- To measure the impact the JPF AA has on the young people.
- To create an opportunity for Achievers to be in contact with each other.
Method:
Online message board. The JPF website will have an additional password-protected site in which achievers will be able to access community activities, competitions, discounts and thought-provoking discussions.

E-Calender – Online diary in which they can store reminders of upcoming events
Personal Achievement Page- This page will consist of a personal online log (which no one else can access) The user will be able to type in their thoughts to the following questions. (To reach Objective 1)

JPF Message Board- There will be a maximum of 15 message boards with assigned topics such as: Travel, Community Service, New Societies, Continue Achieving, Your Success Story etc. Please see safety for further details.
This message board will allow Objective 1, 2 and 3 to be achieved as Achievers can discuss upcoming events in the community or their personal success story.
Website Help Page- Users can email the moderator for any problems with the site.
Message Board Rules- There will be a set of specific rules, such as:
Keeping Personal details private, including passwords.
No releasing of names, or email addresses
No offensive material
No foreign languages or code
Stay on the Topic Assigned
Term and Conditions- This page covers all legality issues and renounces the JPF of all responsibility.
Security and control:
The site will have an assigned moderator who will receive each message first, review the material to ensure the content is appropriate and then publish it to the website. Inappropriate material will be discarded. Users can expect their messages to be on the website with in 48 hours. This delay and supervision will encourage the users to only write useful information.
In or to ensure authenticity of Achievers, several questions are asked at Registration. The moderator should then put a mark in benefactor noting the Achiever has applied for an online username.
Costs:
More accurate estimate will be available soon.
Additional costs include payment of a moderator. It is estimated that a moderator will be needed approximately 8 hours a week. Enquiries are being made to determine if the job can be done outside of the JPF office.
Initialisation:
In order to involve both Past and Future Achievers, the society will be advertised on the website as well as JPF posters.
AA Winners will receive a short note with their medallion inviting them to join the online society. The Note will the Achiever’s assigned number.
