blue 1  Leaders Awards

Introduction

Jack Petchey Leader Awards are linked to the Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme.

Any school or club  participating in  the Achievement Award Scheme can nominate a "Leader".

Awards are given to adults who have demonstrated, in an outstanding way, an ability to encourage and motivate young people aged 11-25 in London or Essex.

It works  best  when young  people, Leaders, Teachers or Volunteers are involved in choosing  an  adult for this award (worth £1000!).Leader Award Photo

The scheme is open to Youth Leaders, School Teachers, Community Leaders, Volunteer Leaders, Sports Coaches and any other adults who have regular contact with young people. The foundation can supply  a Nomination box.

Internal School/Club Nomination forms can be down loaded from the website. See  What To Do Next.

To nominate a Leader Award winner, complete a Leader Award Nomination Form and send to the Jack Petchey Foundation.

Awards winners will be:

  • Invited to an Annual Presentation ceremony
  • Presented with a gilt medallion
  • Given a cheque for £1000 to be spent on a community/school/club project of their choice
