Current Priorities
In recent years the Jack Petchey Foundation has expanded rapidly and we have just celebrated giving £50,000,000 in grants to promote work with young people since the formation of the Foundation. A great deal has been achieved with and for young people. In particular we are proud about the impact of our Achievement Award Scheme and programmes such as ‘Speak Out’ and Step into Dance’.
We are currently receiving a very high volume of grant applications from statutory and voluntary organisations for a wide range of youth activities. The Trustees of the Jack Petchey Foundation have therefore decided to undertake a period of reflection to focus our grant making priorities for 2009 and beyond. The Foundation is currently closed to new Project Grant and Sponsorship Applications and an announcement about future programmes will be made by November.
The Achievement Award Scheme will continue to operate as normal and is open for applications.
