Volunteer project in Nicaragua changes lives and helps the environment

In 2017 Holly Freuchen flew to Nicaragua, where she lived for three months, volunteering with the charity Raleigh International. She was supported in her volunteer work by a £300 Individual Grant for Volunteering by the Jack Petchey Foundation.

Young mothers are treated to a seaside trip with their family thanks to Leader Award Grant

Thanks to Angela’s Leader Award, YMCA West London could apply for a £750 Small Grant from the Jack Petchey Foundation. The residents and staff decided to use the money to fund an exciting trip to the seaside for 20 young mums and their children.
