Winner of Britain's biggest Glee Club competition crowned at Indigo O2

RE:VERB were crowned Jack Petchey Glee Club Challenge Champions 2017 at the Grand Final held at London's Indigo at The O2 Arena on Sunday 19th March, walking away with a £2500 prize.

United Judo use Small Grant for a special weekend of training

United Judo used a Jack Petchey Foundation Small Grant to help fund a trip to Galway for 16 of their members for a special training weekend.

Ms. Clark is recognized for her outstanding work with Year Seven students

In 2016 Fiona Clark, Head of Year Sevens at the Business Academy, Bexley was nominated for a Jack Petchey Leader Award. This enabled her to apply for a £750 small grant to spend on a camping trip for the new Year 7 students.

#CrystalAwards: Young Carers are treated to spooky theme park adventure

To mark the 15th Anniversary of the Jack Petchey Foundation, £1500 grants were awarded to 150 youth groups. Thurrock Young Carers were one of the groups selected and they used their grant to fund a trip to Adventure Island for 44 young carers.

Volunteer project in rural India works to empower women

Celia Gueto Melo spent three months volunteering in Rajasthan, India with youth-led social action organisation Pravha. The Jack Petchey Foundation awarded Celia with a £300 Individual Grant for Volunteering to support her volunteer work.

William Perkins students learn about the universe at Greenwich Observatory

On Friday 27th January 2017, 60 lucky Year 10 students from William Perkin High School visited the Greenwich Planetarium. The trip was funded by a £180 Jack Petchey Foundation Educational Visit Grant.

Air Cadet saves his grandad's life thanks to his First Aid training

A young air cadet, Sergeant Luke Coleman, age 19, from 282 East Ham Squadron, proved that first aid training really does save lives, when he jumped into action as his grandfather suddenly began choking one evening.

Small grant enables young LGBQT+ people to attend Pride events

The Gap has been supported by the Jack Petchey Foundation since 2014 and in August 2016 they received a Small Grant of £750 which enabled them to take a group of young people from Gap to London and Brighton Pride.

Wimbledon teacher wins Jack Petchey Foundation Most Inspirational teacher Award

Angelina Di Passio of Ricards Lodge won The Jack Petchey Foundation Award for Inspirational Teacher of the Year award for her exceptional work on after school activities including LGBQT+ support groups and Model UN Conferences.
