2012 Lord Mayors Show Double Decker Success!
Not only did the Foundation get great coverage on the BBC, we got to stand side by side with some of the amazing award winners from London and Essex as well as showcase the outstanding bus competition winning livery, designed by Sara Ahmed from Newham.
On behalf of the Foundation we want to say a big “THANK YOU” to everyone involved on Saturday - You were amazing in spite of the rain!
Keep an eye out for competition winner Sara and Pagaentmaster Dominic Reid being interview about bus by the BBC too!

Congratulations to Sara Ahmed from Plashet School in Newham on winning our “design a bus” competition for this year’s Lord Mayor’s Show.
We had over 110 entries all of which were of a great quality. Those were then whittled down to 10 entries. Dominic Reid, Pagaentmaster for the Lord Mayor’s Show then selected the winning design.
Sara’s design was full of themes that we liked – it was big, bold, colourful, showed the range of young people that we work with, had inspirational and motivational messages and looked great on the side of a bus!
Congratulations also to our runners up - D’Jean Murphy-Davis’ who received a £50 voucher and Jemah Pearce who received a £25 voucher.
