Principal David Daniels receives the 'key' to the new building
Principal David Daniels receives the keys to the newly completed Petchey Academy. Staff and students have spent the past year in temporary buildings but from this term they will now move into the new building in Shacklewell Lane, Dalston. The new school boasts a training restaurant, a dance studio and a sports hall. The Jack Petchey Foundation has contributed £2million. The official opening ceremony will take place early in 2008 after the completion of the outdoor games area.
