Ex-EastEnder's star joins judging panel for Glee final!

The Jack Petchey Foundation is pleased to announce that John Partridge has become the fourth and final judge for this year’s Glee Club Challenge Grand Final! Widely familiar for his role of Christian Clarke in the long-running BBC soap EastEnders, John joins Graham Norton, Tamzin Outwaite and Brenda Edwards on the panel to decide which group will be crowned Jack Petchey Glee Club Challenge Champions 2013!!

John is the perfect fit for a Glee Club judge, having worked extensively as a singer and dancer in musical theatre over a career that spans 25 years. Notably, he played the roles of Rum Tum Tugger and Munkustrap in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical, Cats.  John also has prior experience as a judge, having helped to decide who would play Dorothy in a new production of the Wizard of Oz in 2010 on Lloyd Webber’s reality TV show, Over the Rainbow.

The regional finals for the competition take place on the 19th and 20th of October in London, and on the 7th of November in Essex! We welcome John and the rest of the panel to pick a winner from the finalists who will be performing at the IndigO2 on 24th November.
