Step into Dance reaches landmark!

Enfield school becomes number 200!

Our partnership programme with the Royal Academy of Dance, Step into Dance reached the double centenary landmark this week, as the Latymer School in Edmonton became the latest school to sign up to the programme which operates in schools across London and Essex.

From an origional pilot of just 28 schools, Step into Dance is now the biggest secondary school dance programme in the UK, unique in offering training and performance opportunities throughout the year. We are particularly proud of working with a number of Special Education Needs (SEN) schools and Pupil Referral Units (PRU's), while the programme offers weekly extra-curricular dance lessons to a large number of students who would not otherwise have access to quality, structured dance instruction.

Following a range of events throughout the year such as Watch this Step, Step in2 Battle and the Step Borough Events, the Step into Dance programme will culminate with the end of year event Step LIVE! which for 2014 will return to Sadler's Wells theatre in Farringdon on 5th July!!

Whether its dancing, teaching or simply watching, keep up to date with all the latest news from Step into Dance on the programme's Facebook page or website!
