The Petchey Centre For Entrepreneurship
In 2005 the Jack Petchey Foundation gave a £500,000 donation in order to set up the Petchey Centre for Entrepreneurship (PCE) which is based at the University of East London’s Business School and Knowledge Dock.

It offers entrepreneurs, including students, graduates and local start-ups in the early stages of business creation, exceptional facilities, training, advice and access to industry networks.
The Centre's mission is to support entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial behaviour amongst the University’s students, local businesses and the local community, delivering European, national and regional government initiatives. It also conducts research on small and medium enterprises and related policy issues.

“I am proud to support this fantastic new facility, which will give young people in East London access to some of the resources they need to succeed with their enterprises. Our Foundation encourages young people to achieve great things, and I fully expect those who are using this Centre to have a positive effect on our community and our economy in the future”
