Impact Report 2026
Each year the Jack Petchey Foundation releases an Impact Report to monitor how we are meeting Sir Jack Petchey CBE’s mission to provide opportunities for young people across London and Essex to build their confidence, skills and voice. Our work is built around the idea that when young people believe in themselves they are more likely to take positive action, contribute to their communities, and shape their own futures. This report measures if we are successful in impacting the lives of young people and the youth organisations we invest in. None of our success would be possible without the efforts and dedication of the organisations we work with. But we can achieve even more. Read and share this report with every school and youth organisation you know so that even more young people can benefit from Sir Jack’s legacy.

In the 2024/25 academic year we worked with over 1,500 schools, colleges and youth organisations across London and Essex to reach more young people than ever before to ensure that they have opportunities to develop their skills, confidence and voice. We are excited to share our 2026 Impact Report with you.
In the 2024/25 academic year we…
- Directly reached 195,960 young people through our grants and programmes, an increase of 13% year on year!
- Of those, 155,328 young people were reached through our tailored partnership programmes, an increase of 18% year on year!
- Celebrated 12,485 young people with Jack Petchey Achievement Awards!
- More than 20,000 people attended our Achievement Award events to celebrate young people.
- Recognised 602 talented and dedicated leaders who do so much for young people across London and Essex, an increase of 11% year on year!
- 99% of those running our flagship Achievement Award Scheme said they’d recommend it to other schools and groups.
Remember, “If you think you can, you can!”

Our flagship Achievement Award Scheme is delivered by over 1,500 youth organisations, state secondary schools, colleges, special schools and alternative educational providers. But we want to work with all of those eligible! We are looking for new schools and youth organisations to join the Jack Petchey Achievement Award scheme to help us recognise and empower even more young people with our awards, programmes and funding opportunities.
