Jack Petchey's Take the Stage

This competition is for young people with a passion for performing! Whether they are singers, dancers, poets, musicians or more, here’s their chance to showcase their talent at our Achievement Awards events and win £1,000 for their school, club or youth organisation!
How to Enter 🎶
Jack Petchey’s Take the Stage is open to all young people from schools, clubs and youth organisations on our Achievement Award Scheme.
The competition is easy to enter.
If you are a young person, all you need to do is tell your teacher or youth group leader that you would like to take part during your school’s or youth organisation’s next Achievement Award event.
If you are a teacher or leader who is not an Achievement Award Coordinator, tell your coordinator that you know a young person who would like to perform at your next Achievement Award event.
If you are an Achievement Award Coordinator, submit a performance request for your school or youth organisation’s annual Jack Petchey Foundation Achievement Award event once you have received your formal invitation. (We notify you when this is every year.)
How the Competition Works 🎬
If invited to perform at the event, we will film the performance, which will be watched by our selected panel of judges made up of young people. (Performance places are subject to availability.)
Winners and two runners-up will be selected at the end of each term – 3 times a year!
The Prize 🏆
Each term, a £1,000 prize is up for grabs for the winning school, club or youth organisation, which could be spent on performance equipment or a project of your choosing. The first runner-up will receive £500, and the second runner-up £250.
