One In A Million Short Video Competition
Are you One In A Million of the young people that the Jack Petchey Foundation has directly benefitted? Enter our competition!
This year, we celebrate the HUGE milestone of directly benefitting over 1 million young people since the Foundation first began. Are you one of those 1 million? Whether you are an Achievement Award winner, have participated in our Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge, Step Into Dance or any other JPF affiliated programme we you to enter!
We are looking for young people to submit short TikTok-style videos about their experience on a Jack Petchey Foundation programme. The video can take any form – from a TikTok dance to a POV-style video to speaking about their experience – the more creative, the better! The winning entry will be awarded a £100 cash prize, so get creating!
How To Enter
- Record and edit a short video between 5 and 30 seconds long
- The video should be a creative representation of a Jack Petchey Foundation programme or award (e.g. the Jack Petchey Achievement Award, Step Into Dance, Speak Out Challenge or any of our other partner programmes) – scroll down for ideas!
- Start your video by introducing yourself (first name only) and the phrase “I am one in a million young people the Jack Petchey Foundation has worked with!” (e.g. “Hi, I’m Lara and I’m one in a million young people the Jack Petchey Foundation has worked with!”)
- Enter the competition using the form below and upload your video. If you post the video on social media, be sure to tag us @jackpetcheyfoundation and tell your friends to enter!
- Open for entries until Tuesday 18th April at 12pm
- The winner will be contacted in May and announced on our social media
Some ideas…
🟡 Share a “point of view” of you winning an award or experience of taking part in a programme by stitching together some of your photos!
🟡 Use a tending sound to show us how participating in a programme or winning an award made you feel!
🟡 Talk to the camera telling us your favourite thing about the programme, or why you won your Achievement Award!
🟡 Show us what you spent your Achievement Award grant on for your school or youth group!
🟡 Share 5 Top Tips that you learned on one of our programmes such as Jack PEtchey’s Speak Out Challenge, WizeUp, Young Enterprise or Talk About the Future!
🟡 Try a trending TikTok dance using the moves you learned from Step Into Dance!
🟡 Show us your experience on one of our Jack Petchey Adventure trips or if you have taken part in our Individual Grants for Volunteering!
🟡 Any other ideas – remember, the more creative the better!
A panel of young people we work with will decide the winner of the competition in May 2023, so be sure to keep an eye on your emails after you enter!
