Essex Boys and Girls Clubs (EBGC) is a charity delivering programmes across Essex and East London that offer young people opportunities to achieve their physical, mental and spiritual potential. The focus is on enabling them to grow as individuals, members of society and community leaders.

Ever since he was a Scout, Sir Jack was a big believer in the power of the outdoors and what it can offer young people. The Jack Petchey Foundation has provided funding to EBGC for many years, and helped the charity achieve its goals in supporting young people, allowing them to experience outdoor activities away from home and creating unforgettable experiences.
