Supporting young talent and youth charities

About the Jack Petchey Internship Programme

Each year the Jack Petchey Foundation works with charities across London and Essex to offer a range of year-long internship roles focusing on youth engagement.

The internship’s that start in 2025 will be the seventh year of our successful internship programme. So far, we have supported around 140 young people with roles in the youth sector. You can see some profiles of former Jack Petchey Interns below.

Our interns receive a full salary that is part-funded by the Jack Petchey Foundation, and the programme includes a training bursary, personal development training programme for each intern and mentoring to help the young interns grow in their skills.

The Jack Petchey Internship Programme is designed to support essential roles that make a positive difference to the young people the organisation serves. By giving charities a grant to help fund an intern, the programme gives organisations in London and Essex valuable support to help them achieve their mission.
