2024-25 Jack Petchey Internship Programme Roles

The Jack Petchey Internship Programme is designed to give young people a flying start in the youth sector. It aims to support dynamic young individuals on their first step towards being the sector’s future leaders.

Interns receive a full salary, a training bursary of £1,000, six professional development workshops delivered by experts on topics such as how to manage a work-life balance, as well as access to a personal mentor to help them grow in their skills.

Leap Confronting Conflict  Fundraising and Communications officer (Internship)

Summary:

Leap is the UK’s only youth charity specialising in conflict navigation. We have over 30 years of experience building and delivering training programmes informed by social-emotional learning theory, which increase empathy, responsibility, self-confidence, and resilience. We are excited to share a rare opportunity to join our small but mighty team of changemakers whilst developing your skills and confidence to pursue a career in the charity sector.  Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will play a key role offering dynamic support across the income and communications team, including: creating content for social media, our website and marketing channels, supporting the retention and stewardship of existing funders through excellent communications and engagement; supporting the development of new funder relationships and income streams; managing day to day correspondence and enquiries; and researching prospective funders and funding opportunities.
